    One word to describe this symphonic score: PANDEMONIUM. Amazing score that also resonates with the times we're living in.

    Mozart's Magic Flute sung and spoken in English! 😊 Its great to see one of his best operas in English. Mozart would have approved im sure. His family stayed in London when he was on tour as a child prodigy.

    Why does he turn around? What was the crowd supposed to do? Evacuate!? Here is a conducter that makes certainty the crowd is involved. This depicts safety and precaution. How would a large group handle an emergency? Be careful; this is just one depiction of disaster!

    • @NatalPrevost-rx8fd
      @NatalPrevost-rx8fd 29 дней назад

      The conductor turns around to conduct the offstage musicians. The score calls for many offstage musicians stationed in different parts of the hall, such as brass, percussion, a saxophone quartet and a double bass, a clarinet and a small marching band.

    • @corbindoucette7830
      @corbindoucette7830 28 дней назад

      @@NatalPrevost-rx8fd Ha! I actually know. It's the "parade" and such. However, the conductor should have never turned around. It wrongly suggests the crowd is involved. There is a fear here instilled in those that think they should do something to be involved. With the band in the audience, it makes that fear real, because it creates the illusion that everything will be fine since there's a group following the instructions of that conduct. Everyone who stood still is to blame for any disaster afterward.
